Works > spring 2024 Goldsmiths install

This is a body of work installed together for my final internal critique session at Goldsmiths. The works explore the circulation of objects and materials through a few neighborhoods in Southeast London. In this installation, I was particularly interested in thinking about the home space in the lives of these materials. Many objects here spent some time in homes, or helped facilitate the movement of other objects to homes. However all of the objects collected for this work were found in public spaces, largely rubbish piles. I was interested in the echo left in these objects of their home-lives and the way that private space and domesticity leaks out into streets, landfills, rivers.
